Ingredients
- 2 chicken drum sticks
- 1 onion
- 3 sticks celery
- 1 turnip
- 1 parsnip
- Some parsley
- 2 tbs vegeta seasoning
- Soup noodles
Method
Prep 30 > Cook 45 > Serves 6
- In a large pot add chicken, onion, carrot, celery, turnip, parsnip, parsley and vegetables.
- Fill with water, cover with lid and bring to the boil. If water gets low top it up.
- Stock is ready when chicken falls off the bone and all vegetables are soft.
- Remove chicken and vegetables from pot, chop into small pieces, then add back into stock.
- Either add in noodles and enjoy fresh or divide equally into con trainers and freeze without noodles.
* Add more vegetables or salt and pepper if more flavour is needed.
